Catherine Paolillo is the Head of Access and Outreach Services Librarian at the University of San Diego's (USD) Copley Library. She earned her BA in visual arts from CSU Chico and a MLIS and MS Art History from the Pratt Institute. In her role as Department Head she oversees circulation, resource sharing, course reserves, day to day building operations, and the department\'s vital student assistant program. She is also responsible for the library's social media presence, organizing outreach events such as the annual Banned Books Week celebration, and supporting other library marketing efforts. The collective care leader for library workers, workplaces, and organizations, <span class="il">Kaetrena</span> Davis Kendrick earned her M.S.L.S. from the historic Clark Atlanta University School of Library and Information Studies. Her award-winning research on low-morale experiences in libraries is recognized as groundbreaking and validating for library employees at all levels. In her daily and long-term work, Kendrick has transformed library programs, services, and culture via creativity, leadership, and advocacy. A practitioner of Critical Hope, Kendrick is committed to centering well-being, creativity, possibility, and empathy in the workplace, and promoting career clarity and rejuvenation to workers. In 2019, Kendrick was named the Association of College and Research Libraries’ Academic/Research Librarian of the Year, and she is the 2024-2025 Follett Chair with the Dominican University School of Information Studies. Her latest co-edited book, <i>Catalyzing Critical Hope in Academic Libraries: Narratives of Challenge and Change</i>, is forthcoming from ACRL.

Leslie Golamb is a Liaison Librarian and oversees 3D printing, research support, and data management services at the A.T. Still Memorial Library, A.T. Still University of Health Sciences (ATSU), a role she has held since 2020. She previously worked in other academic and public libraries fostering educational growth, enhancing library services, developing impactful library programs, and achieving significant advancements in information literacy and research services.

Leslie holds Level 2 Specializations in Systematic Review Services and in Data Services from the Medical Library Association. She is also a provisional-level member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP). Her professional contributions include several poster sessions at both the Medical Library Association (MLA) Annual Meeting and the Electronic Resource & Libraries (ER& L) Annual Meeting. Leslie has assisted many researchers with Data Management plans and a range of reviews, from literature to systematic. She has also been asked by her Occupational Therapy Dean to teach their evidence-based practice course to the master students. Most recently, Leslie has taken the expansion of the 3D printing services and has been working closely with her library team to market makerspace initiatives and engage their community through social media.

Mary Carmen Nyce is the Head of Access Services at the University at Albany Libraries, where she oversees circulation, resource sharing, course reserves, user services, and a large student workforce across multiple library locations. With a passion for creating welcoming and effective library environments, her work focuses on the intersection of access, organizational culture, and staff development.

Mary is particularly interested in building strong workplace relationships and fostering a community of care within libraries. Her recent work explores the concept of relational infrastructure and the role that care, communication, community, and stewardship play in creating resilient and engaged library teams. She has presented on these topics at regional and national conferences and is an active contributor to professional organizations within the library field.

Before returning to librarianship, Mary worked as a dialysis technician. Following a life-changing stroke and recovery journey, she developed a renewed appreciation for the power of support systems, empathy, and human connection. These experiences continue to inform her leadership philosophy and her commitment to helping library staff thrive both personally and professionally.

Qinghua Xu is Associate Director for Access Services and STEM Librarian at NYU Shanghai, where she supports STEM research and instruction while overseeing circulation, course reserves, resource sharing, library spaces, and other access services. She has over 20 years of experience in academic and corporate libraries, with expertise spanning access services, electronic resources, library systems, technical services, collection development, and user services. Shayla Harrington is an Access Services Manager at Cornell University Library, where she has worked for more than a decade in roles ranging from Late Night Assistant and Reference Assistant to managing a busy public services operation and team of eight staff. Her varied experience has given her a broad perspective on both frontline library services and the challenges of managing them. Her work focuses on finding practical, sustainable ways to improve services for library users and staff, with particular interest in data-informed decision making, staffing and management, workflow improvement, and organizational change. Shayla serves on Cornell University Library’s Access Services Leadership Team and has contributed to library-wide initiatives including the Organizational Excellence Task Force. By identifying core priorities and evaluating what can be streamlined or let go, she works to better align limited resources with the library’s mission. Outside of the library, she enjoys paddling around New York’s Finger Lakes.
