I've worked at PCOM for 8 years, and have nearly 15 years of experience working in all sorts of libraries. I also have over 20 years of customer service experience and believe working in a library is first and foremost a customer service profession. Each interaction we have with a patron gives us a chance to make a positive (or negative) impression and it is incredibly important to cultivate and maintain a helpful, positive environment for everyone.
