William Gee is the Department Head of Interlibrary Loan in Joyner Library at East Carolina University. He previously was Head of Circulation at ECU and worked in library public service roles at the University of Tennessee and Berry College, and in human resources for a municipal government. He has been active in numerous ALA and NCLA committees. He has presented and published on issues related to interlibrary loan, scholarly communication, copyright, enhancing the provision of library services, and employee development.
