I am the new Head of Access & Outreach Services Librarian at the University of San Diego. Prior to accepting this role I served as the Outreach & Engagement Librarian at California State University Channel Islands, and the Visiting Evening Access Librarian also at the University of San Diego. I have worked in academic libraries for ten years, most of that time spent in Access Services and other public-facing roles. I am passionate about creating welcoming and safe spaces on campus where all students can thrive. I am also proud to manage a mutually beneficial student employment program in Access Services that helps prepare our students develop critical skills for the working world, regardless of their area of study.
