2025 Access Services Conference

Stefanie Hood is a Library Technician III at Oregon State University’s Valley Library, where she manages the laptop lending program, 3D printing services, and the Library of Things collection, including mobile hotspots. A graduate of OSU with a degree in biocultural anthropology, Stefanie began her library journey as a student worker and has served as full-time staff for the past four years. She has presented regionally on the development and management of Library of Things collections and has written successful grant proposals to expand access to technology. In 2024, she traveled to Scotland to participate in a course on using LiDAR for 3D scanning in historical preservation and looks forward to further developing these emerging skills. Stefanie is also a published poet, bringing a creative lens to her work in library innovation and community engagement.
