Call for Interest: Assistant Treasurer (Board of Directors)

Access Services in Libraries, Inc. (ASiL) is seeking an Assistant Treasurer to join the Board of Directors. This is a working board position that supports the financial operations of the organization, with a focus on conference-related transactions and institutional coordination.

ASiL is a nonprofit organization that supports professional development, community engagement, and scholarship for those working in access services across libraries. As the organization continues to grow, this role is important to maintaining consistent and reliable financial processes.

About the Role

The Assistant Treasurer supports financial operations related to the Access Services Conference and broader organizational activities. This role works closely with organizational leadership and contributes to the day-to-day financial workflows of ASiL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process conference registration financial transactions
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records related to registrations
  • Serve as ASiL’s vendor contact for financial relationships with institutions in the State of Georgia
  • Support financial and administrative workflows as needed

Eligibility Requirement

Due to the nature of this role and its involvement in financial relationships with state institutions, applicants cannot be employed by the State of Georgia.
