2025 Access Services Conference

A stereotypical librarian with 4 cats, a husband, and a great love of reading, Christy has a BA in Theater with a Secondary Education minor from UF, a certificate for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from Santa Fe College, and an MILS from FSU. She has worked in various positions in the University of Florida libraries over the past 18 years, including: serials acquisitions, commercial binding, metadata creation and manager of IR@UF, the university's institutional Repository. Her current position is as coordinator of fulfillment activities in Alma, from implementation to upkeep, and now includes a role as library liaison to the Oak Hammock retirement community. She loves sharing ideas with colleagues, and is excited to return to attending and presenting at conferences.
